2028年美國總統選舉將於2028年11月7日星期二舉行[1]。現任美國总统唐纳德·特朗普在赢得2016年和2024年總統選舉后，根据美國憲法《第二十二修正案》的规定，总统特朗普没有资格连任第三屆任期。特朗普的第二屆任期将于2029年1月20日中午屆滿，届时2028年大选的获胜者将就任总统和副总统。

共和黨總統副总统候選人特朗普和萬斯於2024年撃敗民主黨總統副总统候選人賀錦麗和提姆·華茲，將於2025年1月宣誓後上台就職。川普曾於2016年當選總統，但在2020年連任競選中輸給了喬·拜登，而拜登在選舉三個月前宣佈不競選連任，並由副总统賀錦麗接替。共和黨亦赢得了參議院的多數地位並保住了眾議院的多數地位[2]。
