夏伟（Orville Schell）（1940年5月20日—）是一名美国作家、学者和社会运动家，以中国研究闻名。现任亚洲协会中美关系中心主任，曾任加利福尼亚大学柏克莱分校新闻学院院长。
先后就读庞弗雷特中学、哈佛大学，1964年毕业后任职于雅加达福特基金会。其后返回美国就读加利福尼亚大学柏克莱分校，先后取得硕士和博士学位，期间担任弗朗兹·舒尔曼的助理并且共同创立了太平洋新闻服务社。就学期间亦遇上反越战运动，他亦有投身其中。
