褶边兽科(Periptychidae),又名褶齿兽科,是古新世一科有胎盘的哺乳动物,只有在北美洲出现。它们是演化辐射自踝节目的早期杂食性及草食性动物,与一些及现今的有蹄类有关。褶边兽科与其他踝节目不同的是其牙齿,前臼齿肿大及垂直的珐琅质脊。褶边兽科不论大型及细小的属,都有粗壮的骨骼。从已知的骨骼得知,褶边兽科一般都是栖息于陆地的。
