經歷

1954年8月11日，[1]丁克爾·庫勒爾出生於印度新德里。[2][3]1970年至1973年，就讀於德里聖斯蒂芬學院（英語：St. Stephen's College, Delhi），學習經濟學；後在德里經濟學院（英語：Delhi School of Economics）取得碩士學位。[2]1975年至1978年，庫勒爾在德里聖斯蒂芬學院（英語：St. Stephen's College, Delhi）擔任經濟學講師。[2]除了英語和印度語言，庫勒爾還掌握俄語和意大利語。[3]

1978年，庫勒爾進入印度外事服務。[1][2][3]1978年至1999年間，庫勒爾除了被派駐在莫斯科、羅馬和首爾的印度使館工作，也曾在印度國內的外交部、經濟部（英語：Ministry of Finance (India)）、商業部和總理辦公室（英語：Prime Minister's Office (India)）任職。[3]1999年10月8日至2002年12月18日，擔任印度駐阿塞拜疆大使。[4]

2002年10月21日，庫勒爾被任命爲印度駐保加利亞大使，[5]兼任印度駐前南斯拉夫馬其頓共和國大使。[6]2003年2月至2006年7月，任印度駐保加利亞大使兼駐前南斯拉夫馬其頓共和國大使。[7]2006年至2009年，庫勒爾主管外交部非洲、西歐、行政和領事、護照與簽證等部門。[3]

2009年9月8日，被任命爲下一任印度駐奧地利大使，[8]兼任印度駐黑山大使。[9]他還擔任印度常駐聯合國維也納辦事處代表。[10]2009年12月至2012年8月，任印度駐奧地利大使和印度常駐維也納聯合國和其他國際組織代表。[2][11]2012年6月28日，庫勒爾被任命爲下一任印度駐比利時大使兼駐歐洲聯盟理事會和歐洲聯盟委員會大使，[5]兼任印度駐盧森堡大使。[6]2012年9月4日至2013年10月13日，擔任印度駐比利時、盧森堡和歐洲聯盟大使。[12]2013年10月，被任命為外交部西方秘書，[13]10月14日就任。[3]2014年8月退休。[14]

兄長拉胡爾·庫勒爾（英語：Rahul Khullar）（1953年—2021年）為印度行政服務（英語：Indian_Administrative_Service）官員，原印度電信監管局（英語：Telecom Regulatory Authority of India）主席。[15]

已婚，妻子馬拉（Mala）是研究性別、教育和發展的學者，[2]兩人育有一子。[3]
